FloodGuard is being studied for deployment at Pak Sabah, Dunggun, as a preventive solution to minimise flood-related damages at the petrol station. During heavy rain or flash flood events, rising water often seeps into critical areas such as the fuel pump zone, electrical rooms, and underground storage access points—posing serious safety risks and costly disruptions. By installing FloodGuard barriers around these vulnerable areas, the system can form a watertight seal that prevents floodwater intrusion.
This proactive approach not only protects vital equipment and fuel infrastructure from water damage but also helps the station resume operation quickly after flood events. With FloodGuard in place, the petrol station at Pak Sabah can safeguard its operations, reduce post-flood recovery costs, and maintain service continuity for motorists even during Malaysia’s unpredictable monsoon seasons.
